  Notes	PROMINENT WOMAN DIES PHILIPSBURG, Pa.. April 23. The death of Mrs. J. II. Ukkerd of Philipburg, Pa.. April 16. occurred in the Mercy Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa - where she had gone in order to rest and regain her health which had been failing for several months. She was apparently doing nicely, when she suffered a relapse which terminated in her death. The deceased was a devoted member of the Derrick A. M. E. Church. She was a woman of rare attainments and active in club and fraternal circles. She was a member of the Household of Ruth. Grand United Order of Odd Fellows, and for two years served as District i Most Noble Governor. .She was also ' a member of Bathsheba Chapter No, burghrpa" EtrnSUr, Pitta - Women prominent in the Household of Ruth and Order of Eastern Star were in attendant at the fun - TfT ? h,.wa heId Tuesday, April 20. at Philipaburg.
