  Notes	John Jones Dead Popular in the South John Jones, one of the best infielders who ever played on a team of colored baseball players, died In the hospital at Nassau, Bahama Islands, yesterday, after an illness of several weeks, Jones played any position, and always made good. He was a close associate Of Sum Tolliver another Harrisburger who is making good in the South, and is now with the Harrisburg stars, playing in the Bahamas. Jones had played with many professional teams, including the Philadelphia Giants, Cuban Giants and teams in and about New York. He started in Harrlsburg, playing amateur baseball, and was a protege of Frank Grant, the star infielder. John Jones was a son of Mrs. Julia Jones, 828 Muench street. His body is now en route to Harrlsburg under the direction of T. M. Mauk and Son, funeral directors. The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.
