  Notes	When William H Gray was born on October 16, 1839, in Hagerstown, Maryland, his father, John, was 34 and his mother, Jane, was 21. He enlisted in the Union Army 7 Dec 1863 and served as Corporal in Co. F of the 2nd United States Colored Troops. He died on September 10, 1906, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at the age of 66, and was buried in Lincoln Cemetery. Strangely, According to the Index to Compiled Military Service Records; African American Members GAR Shaw Post 206, PA; Fields of Freedom US Colored Troops of SW Pennsylvania William Gray was buried in Allegheny Cemetery. I posted this request with a photo request on Findagrave: "Please help! According to the GAR Shaw Post 206 Records this is the burial location of Civil War Veteran Corporal William H Gray of Co. F of the 2nd USCT...The only problem is the we have a gravestone for Corporal William H Gray of Co. F of the 2nd USCT in Lincoln Cemetery in Harrisburg! According to the Findagrave memorial, this William, is buried at the following location in the Allegheny Cemetery: Section: 37 Lot: C Single Grave: 517 Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated!"
