  Notes	Ex-Steward Dies Funeral services for Lorenzo Taylor, 92, former steward at the Executive Mansion, who died on Sunday at his home, 315 Calder street, following a brief illness, will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 1.30 o'clock, with the Rev. Beverly Ward, pastor of Capital Street Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Taylor came to Harrisburg in 1871 from Greencastle. For several years he was steward at the Executive Mansion and in 1893 was given the contract for window cleaning in a number of department offices of the old State Capitol which was burned in 1897. After the fire, he carried on his work in the several improvised buildings scattered throughout Downtown Harrisburg. With two of his five sons he continued cleaning windows in the new Capitol until 1923 when he retired after forty-seven years in State service. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Gertrude T. Nash, Long Branch, N. J.; Mrs. Carrie T. Jones, Cleveland; Mrs. Helen T. Bowles, York; Mrs. Margaret T. Tate, New York City; Dr. Walter S. Taylor, Baltimore; Mrs. Katharine T. Fairfax, Mrs. Rachel T. Russell and H. B. Taylor, of Harrisburg; a brother, Griffin Taylor, of Pittsburgh, and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the home this evening from 6 to 9 o'clock.
