  Notes	MRS. MAGGIE P. POSEY Mrs. Maggie Phillips Posey, 79, for many years caterer for fraternal dinners in the city, died Monday night at her home, 640 Briggs street, after a lingering illness. Until she became ill, Mrs. Posey supervised banquets and luncheons for a number of organizations for thirty-five years and at one time conducted a dining room on the present site of the Harrisburg Consistory social rooms, Capital and North streets. Mrs. Posey, known to hundreds as "Maggie," was a member of the Wesley Union, A. M. E. Zion Church, stewardess of the church board, treasurer of the house committee, Phyllis Wheatley Branch, Y. W. C. A.; Women's Excelsior Bible Class, treasurer of the Rebecca Aldridge Civic Club, and the Board of management, Central Y. M. C. A. Mrs. Posey is survived by her husband, Rufus R. Posey; a grandson, Harold J. Carter, Harrisburg; ! . a great - granddaughter, Alyce L. - Carter, Howard University, Washington, and two nephews, George Holiday and Robert Black, both of Baltimore. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Wesley A. M. E. Zion Church, the ; Rev. M. L. Blalock, presiding elder of the Eastern District, Zion Conference, assisted by the Rev. I James Clair Taylor, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home tomorrow night from 5 until 10 o'clock.
